What we do
Spittal Playgroup aims to provide high quality care and education provision for children aged 2-4 years, learning through play in a safe, bright, stimulating and happy environment following the curriculum for funded non- maintained nursery settings. We follow a child centred approach, planning to children’s interests and individual developmental needs. We provide opportunities for choice and building their independence skills. We offer free flow structure activities, outdoor provision, experiences and explore our fantastic local community area - all enhanced by our caring and supportive qualified staff.
We provide Early Education, childcare, and Flying Start Funding. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9.10am - 12.30pm and offer wrap around care to Spittal School 12.30pm - 1pm.
