What we do
Fenton Flying Start is part of a Welsh Government initiative aiming to provide quality childcare for children from 2-3 years of age. Following guidance from EPPE project (Effective Provision of Pre-school Education) 2003, which suggests that an early start for children in pre-school helps raise intellectual attainment and improves children’s social skills and equips them for life-long learning. The playgroup management and staff aim to provide a high quality environment to enhance children’s experiences and facilitate their development of important life skills such as emotional well-being, concentration and social interaction as well as providing a solid foundation for their future learning experiences.
Who do we support
Any 2-3 year old child living in the Flying Start catchment area, through a Health Visitor referral or through www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/flying-start/eligible-postcodes. Check if you are eligible.
